What are Community Groups?

Community groups are a Gospel-centered place to:

  • Be known and know others.
  • Be cared for, and care for others.
  • Serve to bless one another and the community around us.

Find your people.

Finding community is an essential part of a life of faith. Here at Grace, we want everyone to find the place where they belong, and for many, that starts with joining a community group.

Community Groups are co-led by men and women who are members of Grace. Leaders facilitate an atmosphere of discipleship where all can be discipled by God’s word, spirit, and people.

What happens during group meetings?

Groups experience this by reading the Bible, spending time with one another, and praying for and with one another. A typical night will look like spending intentional time connecting with one another, reading and discussing God’s Word and praying for and with one another. The idea is to know God more as we grow together.

Groups meet across the community.

We have over 35 groups for all life-stages meeting in nearby communities, including:

  • North Liberty
  • East & West Iowa City
  • Coralville
  • Cedar Rapids
  • Marion
  • Solon
  • Tiffin
  • West Branch
  • Williamsburg

Join a Community Group. We’ll help.

If you’re interested in joining a Community Group, get started by telling us a little bit about your household and your preferences.
