Growing the church through church plants.
The Bible instructs us to make disciples of all nations. Our church plants are an essential piece of the mission to spread the Gospel throughout the community and into the world. Grace is invested in helping new church plants start and thrive. This can look like partnering with existing churches, training house churches and biblical communities and training Pastors and Leaders of future churches.
Harbor Network
Grace Community Church is a part of the Harbor Network, an association of churches gathered around a common commitment to growing the body of Christ. Harbor Network churches are
committed to church planting as an essential component of church growth.
As a member of Harbor Network, Grace we connect with pastors and church planters who have worked to start new churches. We also have access to training resources, conferences for our pastors and leaders, and money to help pay the salaries of church planters.
Why We Plant Churches
Part of our mission is multiplying the gospel through church planting. Over the years, we’ve helped plant churches in locations across Eastern Iowa. Some of these have been multiplications out of Grace, and with others, we simply offered to help them carry out the work that God is calling them to do. At Grace, we desire to see a movement of God’s Word, Spirit, and People and not just build a monument for our own purposes. The churches we have partnered with include…
