Why We Give
Grace seeks to be a body of believers who consistently use God’s gifts joyfully and generously, following personal conviction from the Holy Spirit, relying on God’s provision as we give and serve.
Our Stewardship Practices
Money
At Grace, we promote God-honoring financial stewardship through teaching, coaching, discussion, and practice. We are committed to consistently communicating church, community, and mission partner needs to the congregation. We are also committed to a system of free-will giving: never compulsory, never due to guilt.
Time
Time is a precious resource that everyone is called to steward well. Grace promotes healthy time stewardship through calls to service, enforcing boundaries, setting clear examples, and calls to renewal.
Talent
Each individual is gifted by God differently. These different gifts are to be used in accordance with their nature, for the good of the individual, the good of the body, and the glory of God. Grace seeks to promote this approach to talent stewardship through helping the congregation recognize their gifts, identify and receive training, and through coordinated service opportunities.
Service
God calls us to work at everything we do with all of our heart as unto the Lord. But setting aside work in service to God is a way of giving him the best of our labor. Grace promotes acts of service in a variety of contexts: care for the Body, local outreach, international missions, and more.
