Church isn’t a building.

It’s common for people to think that church is a place where you go on Sunday mornings. However, when the Bible talks about the church, it’s not talking about a place but a people. The people that follow Christ together are the church. We’ve been baptized with one Spirit into one body and are unified together through one Lord, Jesus.

What is church membership?

You’ll find several gospel-preaching, bible-believing churches in our community. We are one body with these churches – and all believers around the globe – as part of Christ’s Church.

We also are distinct in that God has called us to unique missional work and gathered the congregation who attends Grace on Sunday mornings. Consider joining us in this missional work by making Grace your home church through membership.

What does membership at Grace represent?

To become a member, we ask that you affirm a few things:

  • You’ve received Jesus Christ as your Savior and are willing to give testimony about your decision to follow him.
  • You’ve publicly declared your faith through scriptural baptism by immersion, or would be willing to be baptized at the next opportunity.
  • You agree to place yourself under the spiritual direction, protection, and authority of the church’s elders by entering into a covenantal relationship with the church.

How to Become a Member

The first step is to take our membership class, which is offered several times each year. You’ll learn more about Grace, including our history, core beliefs and doctrines. You also have the opportunity to share your testimony.

During class, you’ll receive a membership application. Once you return the completed application, the elders will review it. Pending their recommendation, you’ll receive a confirmation letter within four to six weeks.
