About Jean
Jean provides administrative direction and support to staff and volunteer leaders across all ministry areas of the church. Jean is a native of Iowa City and has been part of Grace since she believed the gospel in 1993. She became a member in 1995 and joined our staff in 2007. From 2003-2005, Jean spent two years as a “non-traditional” (i.e., old!) student at Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, but she has been a serious student of the Bible for her whole Christian life. She loves chatting about the gospel and theology and teaching others how to read and understand the Bible for themselves. Other things to chat Jean up on include the Grand Canyon, Hawkeye sports, Rocky (1976), and the musical Hamilton.
