About Jon

Jon and his wife, Cherrie, have been attending Grace since 2007, and Jon has been an elder since 2022. Jon and Cherrie met on a blind date over 35 years ago, and they now have four children and several grandchildren. Jon is passionate about teaching, both in his private life and at the church, and his family. You’ll most commonly see Jon serving at the church’s information desk or grabbing another cup of coffee at the coffee booth on a Sunday morning! He also shares a warning that he’s a hugger – and especially likes to hug people who aren’t huggers!
