About Robert
Robert joined the staff in 2023 as our part time custodian. Robert has been a member of Grace since 2013, and his wife Tammy joined around the time they were married in 2017. Robert’s first job after moving here from western Iowa way back in 1984 was as janitor for the Coralville HyVee, and later for the Plaza Center One building in downtown Iowa City. After doing that for a couple of years, he began a 30 year career as a computer programmer for Pearson, ACT, and other companies in the area. Robert has three adult children and one grandchild, most of whom are in the Iowa City area. Robert enjoys gardening, reading, and restoring old John Deere garden tractors. He appreciates that the leaders of Grace not only preach the truth of the gospel, but live it in a passionate way that affects the community we live in.
